Hey, we're Dan, Deena, and Rodeo (the Golden Retriever who runs the place) and we're living life to the fullest traveling the US in our 44 foot Momentum Toy Hauler RV. It took us many years to realize we were not taking advantage of all that life has to offer and we started to get the feeling life was passing us by. Because of this, along with work related stress, a couple medical scares, and a few family losses, we decided something needs to change - and change soon. We wanted to feel alive again! We decided to sell our house and most of our belongings. We bought an RV and started living life to the fullest. Join us on our full time RV life journey as we learn and grow with each new adventure. Our videos document our travels all over North America, RV projects and RV tips and tricks. Be sure to subscribe so you will be notified when each new video is released. Welcome! - we're so glad you're here!π

Rivers To Ridges RV
Finally dried out enough that I could replace the insulation in the RV belly. I did the back half first, then the front so that I didn't have to drop the whole belly at one time. I was able to just drop the back corner enough to get the old insulation out, let the underbelly dry for a couple of days, then put new insulation in. After re-installing the back half of the belly, I dropped the front corner and did the same.
I learned from the last time I had to replace insulation that it is easier if you can do it without removing the whole underbelly, especially if you're doing it by yourself.
The job is a pain to do, but doable. The main thing is you need something to hold the underbelly up when re-installing to keep it from sagging. I used milk crates and 2x4's.

Well.... we got a little rain a couple of weeks ago here in central FL. These pictures were taken the next day when the water level already went down a few inches. It took about a week before the ground was dry enough that I could drop the RV belly and start the process of replacing the insulation. It seems the water level was about 3 inches inside the belly, so far the only damage was the insulation. (What a pain to replace).π«
