Welcome to FLO with Crissy.
I am a Mother, Wife, Yogi, Breast Cancer Survivor, Author of For the Love of Jugs: A Breasties Guide, and Advocate for Overall Healthy Living- Mind Body Heart & Soul. I was drawn to Yoga in 2007 and my love for this beautiful lifestyle has grown tremendously from there! Over the years, and especially since my diagnosis in September of 2020, Yoga is now engrained in my being! Yoga is so much more than what you mainly see on Social Media., sure the poses are beautiful and are a huge part of me but it is all the amazingness that you do not technically see that makes Yoga so powerful! It is the connection with yourself, with others, the peace you create, and the love that shines from within. As an E-RYT 200 Yoga Teacher, my goal is to help so many beautiful humans connect to themselves on a deeper level, not just physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. Together let’s create a Life movement to Go with The FLO.

National Cancer Survivors Day
Today, I not only celebrate my cancer chapter but I honor the strength, courage, and grace of all cancer survivors.

In true Crissy ways, I must turn this into inspiration and empowerment!!!

Prevention is Empowerment
Breast cancer prevention begins with awareness—but it deepens with action. Here are some simple, soul-nourishing way you can care for not only for your breast health but your overall wellbeing:

Move with Love
Gentle movement like yoga or walking helps flush the lymphatic system, boost immunity, and calm the nervous system. Movement is medicine—especially when done with joy.

Nourish Your Temple
Eat whole, vibrant foods that reduce inflammation and support hormonal balance. Hydrate often, and choose nourishment that makes your body feel alive.

Tune In
Practice self-breast massage or regular self-checks. Know your body. Trust what it tells you. Early awareness saves lives.

Clear the Stress
Stress is silent but powerful. Use breathwork, journaling, or meditation to clear your inner clutter and return to calm.

Detox Your Space
Reduce toxins in your home and skincare. The small choices add up—and your breasts will thank you.

Love Yourself Enough
We often wait until something forces us to slow down. But the real gift is in choosing ourselves now. Loving yourself means creating small daily rituals that honor your:

Mind – Take 5 quiet minutes to breathe or journal.
Body – Stretch, walk, or simply rest.
Heart – Speak kindly to yourself.
Soul – Do something that lights you up, no matter how small.

Let this day be a reminder:
You don’t have to wait for a diagnosis to start living in alignment.
You are worthy of wellness, joy, and radical self-love—today and every day.

Yoga doesn’t care if you can touch your toes or not. Yoga doesn’t care if you get upside or not!
