Today it became official — my allergy season has begun. Every spring, I experience a flare-up, and now I’m entering the very first stage. My nose is slightly swollen, my eyes are puffy and extremely itchy, and I’ve started sneezing more often. It’s uncomfortable, and honestly, quite exhausting.

The next 2–3 weeks will be another challenge I have to go through, just like last year. I remember how tough the first month and a half was — it wasn’t easy. But this time, I’m more prepared. I’ve started taking prednisone, which helps reduce the swelling and eases the overall discomfort. When everything itches and irritates you, it’s hard to stay calm — the nerves definitely get tested.

Three days ago, it was a great day for photography. I was shooting in Ottawa, and I really liked the light. I took some photos with my phone. And I must say, I really regret that these moments aren’t with me, in my camera. But, in general, the photos from my phone turned out pretty good. To be continued.

A couple of days ago, I witnessed a stunning sunset and simply couldn’t resist capturing the moment. I took the photo on my iPhone 15 Pro Max—actually, on the iPhone 15 Pro. The shot turned out amazing, and I’m incredibly pleased with the result. I didn’t expect to react so quickly and catch that perfect moment.

That sunset reminded me of scenes from the film Dune, which I adore.

Our trip to see “Deadpool” at the Cineplex in Ottawa turned into a real event. It wasn’t just an evening out but the perfect combination of a great movie, atmosphere, and company. We had an amazing time diving into the world of our favorite anti-hero, where sharp humor, spectacular action scenes, and an unconventional plot created an incredible dynamic.

The movie turned out to be one of the best I’ve seen this year. As a big comic book fan, I always look forward to every new adaptation, but “Deadpool” exceeded all expectations. Its style, filled with irony and parody, had us laughing out loud. The entire theater was captivated by the atmosphere, and every moment felt golden. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys unique stories and characters with attitude.

This evening will remain in my memory as one of the best movie experiences I’ve ever had. Sometimes it seems that simple things, like going to the movies, can offer incredible emotions and a burst of positivity.

In this photo, you can see a shot that my wife took in May this year with a 50mm f/1.8 lens. I’m very pleased with the result—the sharpness and lighting are excellent. The concrete wall in the background was perfect for the shoot, and working with it was a real pleasure.

The post features three types of presets: pure Portra 400, a vintage look, and another preset which is not worth mentioning as it’s been significantly altered.

For me, street photography is the process of translating everyday life into a digital format, capturing the moment as it happens. I shoot with a Canon R6 Mark II, primarily using 35mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.8 RF lenses, and occasionally a 24-105 zoom lens, which comes in handy in certain situations. However, these particular shots were taken on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. While I prefer working with RAW for more precise color grading, it’s not just the equipment that matters—it’s the moment you capture. Photography is about storytelling, and its value isn’t defined by the gear used.
