I just wanted to pop in really quickly to say HELLO to all of my subscribers—and to all of my future subscribers who may be finding The Shady Thrifter for the first time! 🥰

Y’all… we are getting SO CLOSE TO 11K! 🎉😭💕 And I just want to say THANK YOU.

I have worked so hard on this little corner of YouTube, and watching this community continue to grow means more to me than you know. Every view, every comment, every like, every share and every person who chooses to subscribe has helped me along this journey.

But the messages that really touch my heart are the ones from those of you who tell me that I’ve inspired you, or that you feel like I’m family at heart. 🥹❤️ Those messages stay with me. 💕 BACK TO WORK… WITH A VERY FULL HEART! 💕

Today is officially my first day back to work after vacation, and I have to say… this vacation turned out to be more special than I ever could have imagined. 🥹💗

My one and only sibling surprised my mom and me by popping up for a visit this weekend — and y’all… WE HAVEN’T SEEN HIM IN 8 YEARS!! 😭💕 I still can’t believe it!

Of course, I immediately went into celebration mode and pulled together an impromptu birthday party so our family could come together, love on him, laugh, eat, celebrate and simply enjoy being in the same space again. It was last minute, but sometimes those unexpected moments turn into the BEST memories. ❤️

Last night, before he headed home, I wanted a little one-on-one time with my brother, so I took him out to dinner at The Grill at The Wharf in Washington, DC. Just me and him. 🥰 We had such a beautiful evening, and he really enjoyed himself.

This morning was definitely bittersweet because he had to leave, but my heart is SO FULL. Eight years is a long time, and I’m incredibly grateful that we had this time together. 💕

BTW: can you believe that we’re 15 years apart (I’m the oldest).😆🦋

I wanted to share a few of these special moments with my YouTube family because so many of you have been checking on me and sending such beautiful messages while I’ve been away. I appreciate you more than you know! 🫶🏽

And YES… we are getting back to the FASHION! 👗✨
