Yesterday 58 years ago 21 February 1965, the world lost the most charismatic, dynamic figures of the 20th Century.
Malcolm X (Malik el-shabazz) was assassinated as he was delivering a speech at the Audobon Ballroom in New York City.
Malcom was the voice of a generation, the voice of frustrated & disillusioned Black people who were frustrated at the slow pace of Civil Rights, & the constant harassment & brutality from the White Power structure, (& not just in the South either).
He was a man who spoke truth to power, told it the way it was, without sugarcoating it.
For years, it was claimed that members of the Nation of Islam played a role in Malcolm's assassination, but in truth, The F. B. I, had played a role in the assassination.
because of their program to silence any kind of dissent, & to deny Black people, a voice that could change their destinies.
