A little bit of a full-circle moment for me. ❤️
A few years ago, I was a student at KCL, sitting in anatomy teaching sessions, trying to make sense of all the structures, relationships and endless details that somehow seemed impossible to remember at the time.

I never really imagined that one day I’d be back in the same place, but this time on the other side of the table — as a demonstrator.

It’s honestly a very strange, and very special, feeling to go from being the person asking questions, getting things wrong, frantically revising before exams and trying to convince myself that I definitely knew my anatomy… to now having the opportunity to teach students who are in exactly the position I was in a few years ago.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to come back to KCL and be part of anatomy teaching. I still have so much to learn myself, but being able to share some of the knowledge and experience I’ve picked up along the way is something I’m really looking forward to.

I remember how intimidating anatomy could feel as a student, so I hope I can help make it a little less daunting — and maybe even a little more enjoyable. If I can help someone understand a concept they’ve been struggling with, answer a question they were too nervous to ask, or simply reassure them that everyone feels completely lost sometimes, then I’ll consider that a pretty good day.
