I FINALLY REALIZED WHY I STRUGGLE TO LET PEOPLE IN.

And this one required looking in the damn mirror. 😂

My brain LOVES putting everything on trial.

Silence becomes evidence.
A different tone becomes evidence.
Something feels slightly off? Evidence.

Hell, sometimes my brain has already manufactured somebody LEAVING my life before they’ve even had a chance to really enter it.

And today I realized something uncomfortable:

I’ve played a role in some of the connections that didn’t work out.

That’s not me beating myself up.

That’s GROWTH.

Because once you can finally see the pattern, you can start trying to break it.

I’m also learning something else:

When somebody genuinely cares about you, maybe you don’t need to constantly ask…

“Why are they here?”
“What do they want?”
“What’s in it for them?”

Maybe they’re there because they WANT to be.

And maybe the only thing you need to do is let them. ❤️

I was at work minding my own damn business when my phone started going NUTS.

So Daddy had to report back to the carnival, put the Ringmaster hat back on and restore some LAW AND ORDER around this motherfucker.

GOOD NEWS:

✅ Exhibit 13 has been corralled.
✅ Containment has been restored.
✅ The carnival is operational.
✅ Nobody knows where the insurance paperwork is.

Meanwhile, today was actually one of the best Sundays I've had in the grind in a while. They made me WORK for that paycheck, but I made it through, kept my head straight, had some laughs and now Gaston is taking us HOME. 🏍️❤️
