Paramount has decided not to renew "Dexter: Original Sin" for a second season, despite an initial renewal announcement in April. The prequel series, which debuted in December 2024, followed the origin story of a young Dexter Morgan.

On the other hand, "Dexter: Resurrection" is gaining momentum! The show, starring Michael C. Hall, has garnered strong viewership and a 94% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Paramount is reportedly planning to open a writers room for a potential Season 2.

Looks like the Dark Passenger is here to stay, but not in the way we expected.
