And don’t even get me started on the haters and glazers. These people will hate on things they don’t understand, then overpraise random stuff just because someone else said it’s good. Disagree with them once, and suddenly you have “bad taste.” But the moment you challenge them to an actual debate, they vanish faster than their critical thinking skills.
If they do accept, it’s even funnier—the moment they start losing, they’ll start shifting the goalposts, saying, “I meant this, not that,” or whining about how “it should’ve been a VC debate instead of text.” And when they do lose? Oh, they’ll go delusional, pretending they didn’t. But deep down, they’re crying in the group chat, trying to convince themselves they still won.
I’ve met both types—some are still traumatized, still barking for my attention like I committed a war crime instead of just beating them in a debate. Chill, bro. It was just a discourse.
And then there are the ones who just hate for the sake of hating. Pure background noise. Maybe that’s just the fatherlessness speaking.
