SLIGHTEST GLIMMER OF A PARTIAL REDEMPTION
New album out August 17, 2023

Today I release my second album. It was a difficult, unpredictable swim in the ocean of music over the past three years. This ocean was raging, the shores were not visible, and the waves were covering. All that was left was to simply swim, without relying on the sunken compass. But I'm glad this journey has finally come to an end. The work is completed and I'm proud of it.

Celebration of new Fall Out Boy album. So Much (For) Stardust.

My channel is dedicated to Green Day related content. But actually the channel is about any good music stuff, events, news and whatever. And one of really remarkable and important events for me in 2023 is this album. Guys put really a lot of efforts, inspiration and time for it - it took 5 years to come out. And it's... godly. "Heaven, Iowa" hits me beautifully hard.

100,000 views. Oh my God. Thank you all. I want to thank each of you, each of my subscribers and every random person who looked at my channel. Starting the channel in 2018, I really wanted to join the world of music in some way, but I did not hope that anyone would know about my channel at all. I did not want to promote the channel (because I did not know how) and only let my close friends listen to my covers. But over time, something resonated with other people. No merit here, it's all Green Day and the amazing talent of Billie Joe Armstrong as a songwriter. I just embellished what is already so beautiful. I hope his father would be proud of him.
As for the track, I wrote this arrangement in the fall of 2020. It was a difficult dark time in my life. I could barely make music and the finished cover lay on my computer for another 7 months before I finally managed to publish it in May 2021. In haste, I made a sloppy cover picture, uploaded a video and forgot about it.
I remember when the idea for this cover came to me. I was driving somewhere in transport, perhaps in the subway after work, and accidentally decided to listen to the multitrack of this song on my phone. I opened the "Additional Instruments" track that had that famous glockenspiel with airy delayed piano notes on it and thought, "wow, that's so beautiful."

I once dreamed of making an album of Green Day covers. I don't know if I'll ever be able to do it and if it makes sense, but the cover (picture) is already there. It remains to finish only a trifle, to record covers. (to be honest, I have a few).
