최근 채널 운영과 관련해 투표를 요청드렸는데, 생각보다 분산된 채널을 더 선호해주시는 분들이 많았고, 그다음으로는 상관없다는 의견이 많았습니다.
저는 개인적으로 다시 EarlGrey 채널로 합쳐서 업로드하는 것이 좋겠다고 생각했지만, 많은 분들께서 분산 운영을 원해주셔서 제 의견과 여러분의 의견을 모두 반영해 두 채널을 동시에 운영해보려 합니다. 한 번에 완전히 분리하기가 어려운 이유는, 제 시작이자 근본은 EarlGrey 채널이기 때문입니다.
그래서 채널을 분산하되, 완전 분리가 아닌 ‘부분 분리’로 진행해보려고 합니다.
- EarlGrey → 데이식스 그룹 커버, 데이식스 멤버 및 타 아티스트 협업 커버
- AI 데이식스 DAY6 [EarlGrey] → 데이식스 개인 커버 및 멤버 간 커버
이렇게 운영하면 마이데이님들께서 두 채널 모두를 즐기시면서, 저의 근본 채널도 함께 이어갈 수 있지 않을까 생각합니다.
유튜브 채널이지만 결국 저 혼자 운영하는 채널이다 보니 체계적으로 완벽하진 않겠지만, 이런 방식도 시도해보고 저런 방식도 시도해보며 방향을 찾아가보려 합니다. 또한 본 채널에 공지를 올려도 확인하지 못하시는 분들도 계셔서, 100% 완전 분리를 할 경우 “왜 더 이상 데이식스 업로드가 없지?” 하고 의문을 가지실 분들도 계실 것 같았습니다.
어떤 방식이든 저에게는 감사하고 행복한 고민이었습니다. 앞으로도 즐거운 마음으로 취미 생활 이어가겠습니다.

I recently asked for your votes regarding how to manage the channels, and it turns out more of you prefer keeping the channels separated. The second most common response was that it doesn’t really matter.
Personally, I thought it might be better to merge everything back into the original EarlGrey channel. However, since many of you prefer having them separated, I’ve decided to respect both your opinions and mine by running both channels at the same time. It’s hard for me to completely separate them because EarlGrey is where everything originally started for me.
So instead of fully dividing the channels, I’ll try a partial separation:
EarlGrey → DAY6 group covers, DAY6 member + other artist collaboration covers
AI DAY6 [EarlGrey] → Individual DAY6 member covers and member-to-member covers
This way, I hope you can enjoy both channels while still keeping our original “home” channel alive together.
Although this is a YouTube channel, it’s still run by just one person. It may not always be perfectly organized, but I want to try different approaches and find the best balance along the way. Also, even when I post announcements on the main channel, some people don’t see them, so if I fully separated everything, some might wonder why there are no more DAY6 uploads on the original channel.
Either way, this has been a happy and meaningful 고민 for me. I’ll continue enjoying this as my hobby and do my best.

Unexpectedly, my appeal was accepted, and I’m able to keep the Earlgrey channel. Most people thought AI channels wouldn’t win appeals — even ChatGPT estimated the chances at only around 25% to 35%. Still, I pushed through and filmed real behind-the-scenes footage of my production process to submit with the appeal, and thankfully it was accepted. You have no idea how stressful these past ten days have been…
I was so convinced it wouldn’t go through that I didn’t even think about future plans. Now the dark scenarios I imagined have turned into hopeful and happy ones, and my heart feels overwhelmed — but in a good way.

곡 편곡, 제작 영상을 짧게 만들어 무작정 뽑아내는 것이 아니라 ai툴을 사용하지만 사람의 개입으로 한 곡 한 곡 정성다해 만들고 있다는 영상이구요!
현재는 결과만 기다리고 있어요. 결과는 어떻게 될 지 모르지만 마지막 결과에 수긍해야겠지요.
그 다음은 제 문제 같은데 확실히 이런 일이 겪고 없던 일이라 생각하고 열심히 하겠다고 각 아티스트 모델마다 채널을 분산했지만 생각보다 심적인 부담이 생기게 되네요.
열심히 해보겠다는 다짐에 이런 앓는 소리를 해대서 제 자신이 너부 부끄럽네요.

Hello. This is EarlGrey 🙇 Over the weekend, I created an appeal video for this channel and submitted it to YouTube. 🥹
It’s a short video showing the arranging and production process, explaining that I’m not just mass-producing tracks. Although I use AI tools, each song is made with human involvement and care, one by one.
At the moment, I’m simply waiting for the result. I don’t know how it will turn out, but I suppose I’ll have to accept the final decision.
What comes after is probably my own issue. Since this was something I had never experienced before, I tried to move forward by treating it as if it hadn’t happened and by splitting channels by artist model, determined to work harder. However, it has turned out to be more mentally taxing than I expected.
I feel quite embarrassed about myself for voicing these worries after making a firm resolve to do my best.
I’ll let you know as soon as the result comes out.
If the appeal is accepted, I’ll need to think carefully about whether to restore things to how they were and what the next plan should be. If it’s not accepted… my heart feels heavy.
