Ang Bagyong Ada ay mas kumikilos na pahilaga habang nasa Philippine Sea east of Eastern Visayas. As of 10:00 AM, ang sentro nito ay nasa 325 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. May lakas itong 65 km/h winds, 80 km/h gusts, at 998 hPa ang central pressure. Kumilos ito northward at 15 km/h, at ang malalakas na hangin ay umaabot hanggang 400 km mula sa sentro.
