2 1/2 tbsp Chili pepper, Red Powder

2 1/2 tbsp Coriander, Powder

1 Coriander, Leaves

2 cup Green peas, Dry

1/2 tbsp Mango, Dry Powder

1 Onion

1 Tomatoes

Condiments

1 Chutney, Green

1 Garlic chutney, Spicy

1 Tamarind chutney, Sweet

Baking & Spices

1 tbsp Garam masala, Powder

2 Salt as per taste

Stuffed Paneer sandwich with thick gravy restaurant style 😍❤️

Ingredients for the gravy

Onion paste 
———————-

2 big onions

Tomato paste
————————-

3 big tomatoes

1 ” ginger

5-6 garlic flakes

2 pepper corns

2 green cardamom

1 small cinnamon stick

6-7 cashew

For diluting the gravy
————————————-

1/2 cup milk

Dry masalas 
————————

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tbsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder

1 tsp cumin coriander powder

1 tbsp kitchen king masala

1 tbsp kasuri methi ( crushed between the palms)

Salt as per taste

1/4 tsp sugar

Coriander leaves for garnish

Stuffing for the paneer

1/4 cup grated cheese

3 tbsp chopped cashew

1 tbsp chopped raisins

1 tbsp Coriander leaves

1/4 Chaat masala

1/4 tsp kitchen king masala

Salt as per taste.

To dip the paneer

1 tbsp corn flour

2 tbsp water
Procedure
——————–

For the paneer sandwich
——————————————

Slice the paneer in triangles.

Slice each triangle into three halves or two depending on the thick of the paneer gently.

Stuff some of the stuffing on the paneer triangle.

Dip the paneer sandwich slice in the batter and coat from all sides.

Place the paneer slices in a medium hot oil for shallow frying.

When the base is golden, turn over and continue to shallow fry.

Now drain the fried paneer sandwiches on paper towels. Keep aside.

For the Gravy

Heat a tbsp of oil, add in chopped onion and sauté till brown.

Be careful not to burn it. Remove it from the oil and keep it aside to cool.

In the same oil add in all the ingredients of tomato paste and cook well. Cool this.

Mix both onion and tomato mixture and grind it in a fine paste.
Take a kadai, heat in 1 tbsp oil.

When the oil is hot add the grounded paste and cook for few minutes.

Next add in all the dry masalas except kasuri methi.

Cook till the masala blends well.

Add milk to dilute the gravy as per your need.

Add kasuri methi, sugar and coriander leaves. And check for the taste.

Add the paneer cubes at the time of serving. I Served this with phulkas.

Kesar Mawa Cake /Saffron Cardamom Mava Cake
Kesar Mawa Cake is a shahi or royal touch on the famous Parsi Mawa/Mava Cake .Kesar or Saffron takes this mawa cake a notch higher .Rich and super delicious Kesar or Saffron cake is simply divine with an amazing kesar flavour . I have been a fan of mawa /mava cakes and that can be seen on my blog i have shared 3 to 4 versions of mava/mawa cake and each one is delicious in it's own way..Do try them all if you haven't tried them yet I will be adding the links of all my mawa/mava cake at the end of this post Ingredients 100 gm maida/all purpose flour 110 gm mawa/mava/khoya. 100 gm powdered sugar 1/4 cup milk 2 eggs 50 gm butter softened 8 to 10 strands kesar/Saffron 1 tsp cardamom powder 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla essence Method Line a 6 inch pan with parchment and preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes Sift the flour and baking powder together and keep aside. Mix saffron/kesar in the warm milk and set aside. In a bowl Add butter and beat till creamy, to this add mava/mawa and beat till mixed well. Add powdered sugar and beat till all mix well. Add one egg at a time also add the saffron milk, vanilla and cardamom and mix well. Mix in the flour and beat on the lowest speed or use the spatula to fold in the mixture. Pour the batter in the prepared cake tin and tap to release any air bubbles Garnish with pista /almonds or cashews . Bake at 170 degree Celsius for 45 to 60 minutes or until skewer inserted in the centre of the cakes comes out clean. Allow the pan to cool completely before unmoulding the cake. Slice and enjoy delicious Saffron/Kesar Mawa/Mava Cake. Notes The mawa/khoya has to be soft and at room temperature I have used salted butter hence skipped salt,if using unsalted add 1/4 tsp salt to the flour Use good quality quality saffron/kesar for a deeper colour . some more mawa cake recipes for you to try ,pls click on the links below for the recipe.
