UPDATE: Lots of positive things have happened this month. This channel has always been a slow burner with a steady increase in views over the years. However, this month has seen over 1.3k new subs and a lot of growth which is great!

However, I recently uploaded a cover of ‪@bryanadams‬ All for Love - this video was not monetized, which is great, as I deserve no revenue from it, and never asked for it. I also never claimed that the content was my own and, on uploading, was told that the copyright owner allowed the content to be used on YouTube.

However, someone from Universal music group has manually requested the video to be removed and my account has been issued a copyright strike. There was no warning for this and I would have gladly taken down the video at the owners request, had they raised their concerns and voiced the reason my video, with only 250 views, was a detriment to the artists or the record company, seeing as there was no financial gain and they had already claimed copyright of the song materials.

Considering there was no warning, and a strike lasts for 90 days. I shall be refraining from uploading many videos over the next 3 months. As receiving a further 2 strikes will take down the channel and all I have worked for over the last few years.

My videos only aim to promote my favourite musical songs and artists, however the industry seems to be implosive and the artists or corporate entities are too busy taking down the little guy when they have much larger fish to fry.

RIP HRH Queen Elizabeth II - as an Englishman I feel sad at the loss of our Queen who made many of us proud to be English and UK Citizen whether a royalist or not. One thing I have found when meeting foreigners whilst abroad or at home is the profound love that everyone had for her no matter their own flag and their appreciation. Today many people of many nationalities have lost their Queen.

What better way to end the year than hitting 1.7k subscribers.
This channel has always been a bit of a slow burner in terms of its growth but I am always so thankful for the vast amount of supportive comments and returning viewers to my videos! My channel received 116,967 views over the last year, over 500 new subscribers and countless comments - I aim to double both next year and hope you all can help me by liking and sharing my videos with family and friends that would be interested!

Its been another crazy year with a lot of highs and lows for every one, the pandemic hasn't been easy, I especially miss performing live and hope that 2023 allows me (and many of my musician colleagues) the opportunity to do so.
