“Through twisty mountain roads and heartbreaking stories, God’s love shines brighter.” 🚚❤️ This week, a dedicated team from Grace Church of Mentor delivered essential supplies to two distribution points in North Carolina. The truck was loaded with care on Wednesday, and by Thursday, it reached Leicester, where chainsaws, shovels, and other much-needed items were met with heartfelt gratitude. 🙏
Then, they traveled to Clyde, where the devastation from Hurricane Helene is still being uncovered—literally. Dale shared over a cup of coffee how deep sediment, left by receded floodwaters, is being searched with cadaver dogs and excavators. It’s a heartbreaking scene, but seeing the appreciation for the help provided was a reminder of God’s provision in the midst of sorrow. 🙌
The next truck is being loaded on October 30, with a focus on the items on the current needs list.
