Mini comic about my characters Astra and Kenna^^
It was a mere stylistic exercise but I really liked working on it and I think it was a very good practice for expressions and interactions.

I'll definitely make more of these some time in the future!

CONTEXT

The characters in this scene are Astra (the gray one) and Kenna (the orange one).
Kenna is the captain of a pirate ship where Astra is temporarily staying.

Astra grew up in a controlled environment with little freedom of choice. This is her first time experiencing true freedom, which both excites and terrifies her.

Kenna, on the other hand, has spent her entire life living day by day with no certainties. To her, freedom is second nature.



This scene isn’t necessarily canon, but I see it as a plausible conversation they might have as they begin to get to know each other.
