Personally, I don't think people realise just how hard it is to do a CAW league.
Putting expenses aside for just the games, the consoles and the hardware, in a CAW league, you gotta have wrestling on your mind 24/7. It mentally takes a toll on you for sure. What is my company gonna be called? What is its identity? What directions can we go? Who am I gonna book? What storylines will end in a dramatic way? What will capture the audience's attention? You have to think about ALL of that when doing a CAW league.
As someone who has done CAW leagues and E-Feds since 2013, I've suffered from technical difficulties, time wasted on matches or segments because of a simple thing gone wrong and I have to re-record it, sheer burnout, writer's block, backed into creative corners, not to mention all the politics and backstage drama I've seen throughout multiple federations. Being in a CAW league is just like being in an actual wrestling promotion. Some of it is great and some of it is not.
Even when I'm taking breaks from doing A.W.A.C., I am constantly watching CAW and wrestling. Not a day goes by without me watching one or the other, so I am constantly wired into the storylines, the characters, the wrestling sequences, and all of that does affect me. I am driven to make A.W.A.C. the best it can possibly be, but with so many leagues out there (SCAW, DWA, ICCW, UWO, RCWE, CXWI, XGWL, Blacklist CAW, ACW and many more), it's hard to stand out and keep up with them.
CAW and professional wrestling have simultaneously hurt me at my highest points and saved me at my lowest points. I know that sounds farfetched but it's the truth. I woudn't be here without wrestling in general. That's my life, my goal, my dream.
Well, I've got a lot of personal stuff going right now with my family and my mental health so I'm getting them sorted out one step at a time, so A.W.A.C. is on the shelf for the time being.
As for its future, I am seriously considering getting a PS3 with WWE '13 and 2K14. I never grew up with a PS3 and those games so I missed out on a lot. I am also considering modding them to get the DLCs since those packs have been delisted (but there are ways online to get them. If you know, you know). All of this will be new to me so apologies in advance if it takes longer than expected.
If I do get a PS3, WWE '13 and 2K14, I will be showcasing A.W.A.C. on them and, in addition to WWE 2K19 on PS4, I will be using all 3 of them going forward. Of course, there will be discrepancies between all 3 games so CAWs, logos, titles and arenas will all look different but that can't be helped. If anyone wants to help me out on this, you're more than welcome to.
Once again, thanks for the support, buy the merch, stay strong and stay safe.
On Monday 10th March, 2025, I legit broke down to my mother and told her all my mental health struggles as well as coming out as pansexual to her (all my friends in the CAW community know this already but this is the first time I've told this to a family member). She accepted me for who I am and I am taking small steps to better myself.
Not gonna lie, my mental health was never this messed up since 2020 (you already know). I gave my mother a 3-page diary detailing my mental health struggles. This was me hitting rock bottom. I know I won't fully be better but I can at least be capable and learn to not bottle up all my thoughts inside.

That's my only addiction. Wrestling.
