I'm finishing up my next video, but I am going to be releasing some of my old Members Only video to the public. Also, starting from this point on, I will be doing shorter videos about certain things that don't require a long video. Don't worry, I'm still going to be doing longer videos, but YouTube seems to be punishing people who don't upload more often. They will still be focused on election history, just shorter. It will allow for more content on this channel.

Election History

There will be a video released this weekend (available Sunday for everyone) about this history of the Democratic Leadership Council. The next video planned is about the 2000 Presidential Election.

But, speaking of presidential elections, over the last two weeks, I've been developing what I consider the most advanced presidential election simulation game available. Essentially, the players acts as the campaign manager, with a number of different parts of this game making it significantly more advanced than anything else out there.

This game won't be available until 2027, but hopefully there will be some demo features that I will be able to share before its release. I will be creating a website for it eventually and possibly create a Kickstarter once I get into the final stages before releasing it. On the eventual website, I will have updates. So, this has cut a little into my video-making time, but I think it will be quite enjoyable.

Also, it's not the only political strategy game being developed. You know more about those in the future, especially if you like geopolitics.

YouTube history content is in crisis. ‪@iammrbeat‬, ‪@CynicalHistorian‬ and ‪@VloggingThroughHistory‬ have all been targeted by ‪@MattWalsh‬ over the last few weeks simply because they criticized Walsh's revisionist history. But it goes beyond Walsh's revisionism. Walsh and his allied channels are literally trying to recreate a new history genre to push a political and ideological narrative instead of providing actual, open-minded analysis of historical events. This is why Walsh very clearly cherry picks so-called "sources", because he knows that half of the people watching his channel will not know better. Especially in the case of Mr. Beat and The Cynical Historian, as they tore down each one of those "sources" one-by-one.

I make this comment because it's important, now more than ever, to support those here on YouTube that provide well-researched content. I, as well as all of those that I mentioned above, have a Patreon page where you can support true, well-researched, independent historical research. Please check out their Patreons (as well as mine) and consider becoming a member. If Matt Walsh and his group go wholesale after history, and AdSense it significantly restricted because videos are being copyright stricken (or even having channels removed), then funding sources like Patreon are the best ways to make sure that you are still able have quality content produced on a regular basis.

Luckily, I have not been hit by Walsh, because I haven't done anything against Walsh. But I do recognize how this could eventually lead to the downfall of historical content, especially those that focus on American politics. So please, consider supporting your history YouTube creators.
