I’m Kathy, an avid thrifter, vintage lover and lifelong learner. In 2024, my husband and I (plus our cats) left the U.S. for a simpler, more peaceful life in rural northern Italy.
Join me as I wander through flea markets, antique shops and thrift stores in Piemonte and beyond, in search of unique treasures and the stories they tell about Italian culture, history and everyday life.
Here you'll find vintage hauls, secondhand style inspiration, slow travel adventures, beautiful landscapes and architecture and, of course, plenty of cats.
P.S. “Gattara” means cat lady in Italian!
