Took my 2 favourite headstraps, the bobo vr mini and the Kiwi Design SPC battery headstrap and combined them into one to get the best of both worlds!

I get the ear clearance and honey comb rear cushion from Bobo and the single point charging system and great battery plus top strap from kiwi. Pretty amazing headstrap now I must say!

Hi folks, I have a lot of videos planned in the pipeline but currently moving home so that has delayed everything as all my equipment is packed away.

For reference, I have a number of Quest 3 accessory reviews (actually got sent some for review), I also have a video coming up on the Immersed Visor, AndroidXR, Apple Vision Pro (getting a loaner for a few weeks), and I also hope to get back to documentary style videos.

Quick question, would anyone be interested in news style videos? These would be a lot drier than most, not as much hype or such but just pointing out some interesting developments in the XR space over the previous week or so. Likely not weekly, but rather just as interesting news comes out. Let me know your thoughts! I'm hoping to be a lot more active once I have settled after the house move and have a good setup again.

Just hit 1k subs today! Wanted to thank everyone that has subscribed, watched and commented so far.

This is definitely just a wee hobby for myself but I am hoping to make my content a bit higher quality with more b-roll and such rather than just my hands on a table, unless folks are literally just here for the hands in which case...okay...thanks...

Just finished a near 5000 word script for a video essay on the history of Pico. First video of its kind for this channel. It was actually my original intention for the channel overall to do these styles of video, very excited for it but it's definitely a lot more work than other videos I have done!

Progress update on the Crystal mod. Seems to work well enough and is based on the extra cushion you get in the box.

Main issue now is that the back headrest slides up, a common issue for me as I have very fine hair. So next step is to try and rectify that, I might need a bit of a counterweight also (yes, an even heavier crystal lol) but it's so far promising!

Currently trying to make a 3d printable design to add a quest pro style open design to the Pimax Crystal. No idea if it will work out but will be interesting to see if it's feasible with this type of larger form factor! Should I make a video going over it? I'll be sure to share the design for anyone else to try if they want.

I once again have my hands on the Pimax crystal!

Keen to see what Pimax have done to improve the headset since I last tried it 3 months ago (had to reluctantly sell mine back then).

I'm planning to do a 'second impressions' video and cover how it has improved since then, including aspects such as Eye tracking and Standalone mode.

Any questions or things you'd like me to focus on, please leave them below! I also have new camera mounting equipment in the mail so my video quality should improve quite a bit, I will also commit to adding timestamps as has been requested.
