Farm in the Valley

Our journey through the highs and lows of trying to live clean off grid.
Within the first year we were hit with Cattle tick so fully chemical free living went out the window. This is a journey of building, repairing, growing, repairing, appreciating, repairing and making the most of the decisions we’ve made.

Sometimes it’s hard to remember back to where a journey started and all the pieces in between that got you to where you are.
One day I won’t remember, but hopefully, if for no other reason, I can look back on these videos and see just how far we have come.

If you want to share in the journey, please watch , comment and ask questions. I’m not a videographer and the sound of my own voice makes me feel uncomfortable, but life is short and adventures are endless.

Language warning… I’m a farm girl not a princess 😬

Farm in the Valley

The fire pit area progressed nicely in 100 degree heat today- shame we weren’t building a swimming pool. Borders were made from recycled bridge timber off the property, Smokey granite stone and an offcut 1.2m steel pipe for the pit. Looking forward to winter now 🔥
