Welcome! This channel is dedicated to the various automotive projects (and other random things) I work on out of necessity(or hobby) at my home. Anything from something as mundane as an oil change to something as complex as an engine swap are all on the table. I try to make my videos assuming that the person watching wants to get into the world of wrenching but doesn't quite know where to start. I enjoy teaching and I am aware I do blather on a bit at times, please bear with me. My videos are generally packed with quite a bit of good information so try and listen and watch to the end if you can.

New videos are up. They are a linked pair as in the short is part 1 and the long form video is the part 2 of the saga of my gas F250 up and dying out of no where a few weeks ago. These two videos are also significant as I moved from my old video editing software, OpenShot to CapCut. CapCut is intuitive enough that I downloaded it, installed it and made these two videos all in one go. I'm impressed and I'm only using the free version. I guess I've joined modernity with video editing now.

Today is another good day. Ms. Mildew is back up and running. Was a bit tricky to diagnose but she had a bad engine computer. Computer was damaged when a ignition coil shorted out. It was an interesting troubleshooting process if anyone would like to see an after action type video where I go over what I found and the testing that I did to find it.

Today is a good day. I fixed my daughter's laptop, fixed my pressure washer, fixed my air compressor and hopefully I'll finish the troubleshooting needed to fix my gasser F250 (Ms. Mildew). She's running on 7 at the moment. I made recordings for what is going on so far with Ms. Mildew and the air compressor. Pressure washer was a carb swap and boring though I had to replace the o-ring that goes behind the quick connect coupler.
The laptop... somehow my daughter snapped the ground pin off on the laptop power cable. Even as an IT professional in my 40 years on this earth I have never seen a snapped ground pin. I really don't know how she does it. Hand her a cord and she will snap the end out of it, somehow someway. A new power cord end and she's good to go.
I'll try to have another video of something up by tomorrow, no promises though.
**Update**
Truck is still broken. Grand conspiracy of broken PCM confirmed.

New video is up. I still find it funny that there were no burnt out bulbs while I was filming this. Then a bulb on the instrument cluster burned out shortly after I filmed this. Nuts.

Still around folks. I reply to comments when I can and I've been filming stuff, just not had time to do video editing and get the videos up.

New video is up, on a Friday no less. Coverado approached me and did ask me to make a video in exchange for get the product for free. That being said, the covers do look good and are holding up. Most importantly, the wife is happy and that's enough for me.

Video for this week is up. Kinda proud of this one because the pacing is actually decent for once. Pacing is something I really struggle with but for some reason this video really just... flowed.. It's been a month or so since this video and the AC is still ice cold. Coldest in the fleet actually.

Video for this week is up. This is the last of the footage I recorded on the rush leading up to June 1st of trying to get the car rolling for Poverty Tour. Any 3000GT footage after this should be a bit more measured and overly detailed as is my usual since it's post crunch time.

New video is up. Looking back at the process I probably did spend more time on interior work than than the other parts of the process as I really wanted to make sure that there were no rust surprises. It didn't help that I had to gut the car in order to get the aftermarket stereo system and security system out of it. Strangely enough it wasn't a blocking element due to how long it took the cylinder heads to get back from the machine shop. One more video to post after this, the exterior video. Then I will create the conclusion video that gets you up to date with all the other work I've done since I missed Poverty Tour.

New video is up. As I mention in the description, it's incomplete as to what I wanted it to be. However, I will be filming a final part, a "conclusion" if you will on where the car is today and what things are left to fix, and what stuff I've had to do but not filmed in order to finish getting it in good working order. I've also filmed some much shorter one item type stuff, like replacing fog light bulbs for example. Those videos will slowly make their way to channel as time permits. Work has been quite busy recently so not a bunch of extra time to process videos.
