They play games with a deeper meaning.

Lucky Clover Rescue in Waterford took in several horses, chickens and hens about three weeks ago after the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department confiscated 46 animals from a Town of Scott property in early November.
Now the horses are slowly being nursed back to health at the rescue. Each needs to gain several hundred pounds while battling anemia and parasites.

The Sheboygan Marina, built in 1993, is moving ahead with a major revitalization project after the city council unanimously voted to hire contractor Edgewater Resources for the first phase of improvements.
The $3.29 million Edgewater Resources contract will focus on two main priorities: installing a modern docking system and implementing an ice mitigation system designed to increase dock occupancy rates.

Jill Tronca has been an animal lover her whole life, taking a special interest in horses. When she noticed possible animal abuse at a property just a few miles down the road in the town of Scott, she knew she had to act.
The Sheboygan County woman reported her concerns to the sheriff's department.
Brian Moore, 42, is now charged with mistreating animals — intentional or negligent, a misdemeanor.

A high-pressure gas pipeline blast in the Village of Cascade on Friday afternoon sent four people to the hospital and forced the evacuation of 60 homes, leaving some residents to deal with extensive property damage.
All four people hospitalized have since been released, according to authorities.

An excavation crew ruptured a main natural gas line in Sheboygan County Friday afternoon, causing a significant explosion that hospitalized four people and forced evacuations in the town of Mitchell.
The explosion occurred at approximately 1:18 p.m. on Trio Lane in the town of Mitchell, located in the southwest portion of Sheboygan County. The Sheboygan County Emergency Dispatch Center received several 911 calls reporting the blast.
