The band NEMUER needs your help! If you like my content, you may enjoy this. NEMUER is working with Egyptologists to produce an album of authentic ancient Egyptian music, including authentic instruments and language! They are working on a movie to go with it, too. Below you will find a link to their fundraiser, which has only a few days to go to raise the remaining money.
This is not an advertisement, just a project I am interested in being finished. It would be tremendous if this community could help them along! If you can spare a dollar or your regional equivalent, consider sending it their way to help bring their vision of life. Inspired by the Egyptian book of the dead, in their words, the album will take you on a journey through the Egyptian underworld, full of traps and trials. The entire journey begins with death and culminates in achieving immortality, as the deceased becomes one of the gods.
If you've never heard of NEMUER, they describe themselves as "an ambient folk music project formed in 2014 by Czech composer and multi-instrumentalist Michael Zann. His great passion for music, paganism, and history has allowed him to capture something deep and ancient within us that touches listeners all around the world. By combining throat singing, hypnotic rhythms of percussion, historical instruments, dead languages, and elements of electronic music, NEMUER creates a transcendental experience. The name "NEMUER" refers to an ancient Egyptian deity, serving as a mediator between the sun god and humans.
NEMUER’s concerts are performed as unique rituals, taking audiences on an unforgettable journey through time and fantasy. They have performed at renowned festivals (such as Brutal Assault [CZ], Midgardsblot [NO], Festival Mediaval [DE], Castle Party [PL], Menuo Juodaragis [LT], Cernunnos [FR], Trolls et Legends [BE])."
I had the distinct (though questionable) pleasure of streaming Batman Returns for the SNES on fellow content creator DDRJake's community retro games marathon. And I only got slight crippling Coulrophobia out of it!
