"‘Blue Ghost Specialty’? What the hell is that? Some kind of rotten, moldy bubblegum?
(Short cut. A plate is placed in front of him containing a bizarrely blue, gelatinous substance with strange grey spots and a purple-smelling foam on top.

(Qi Rong’s eyes widen in pure horror.)

Qi Rong:
(Grabs the camera and zooms in on the plate, face full of disgust)
"Look at this, you idiots! This is the ‘Blue Ghost Specialty’! It looks like alien vomit scavenged from the bottom of the ocean! And they have the nerve to charge a fortune for it! I’m not eating this even if my life depended on..."

(Suddenly, his phone starts vibrating violently on the table.
Two notifications pop up one after the other, caught by the camera lens...)

You miserable lot totally misunderstood me! I was just joking!
The harmony of colors... the texture... This... this is pure heaven! A true gastronomic MIRACLE! Chef Xie Lian is a genius!"

(With a trembling hand, he takes a massive bite. He immediately tries to suppress a gag, his eyes nearly popping out.)

Qi Rong: (Nearly crying from the 'joy'/pain)
"What an explosion of flavor! Do you feel this? It’s like... like a lightning strike hitting my tongue! Fantastic! I love it!"

(Suddenly, his eyes flick to the rolling comments on the screen, and he hisses into the mic.)
Qi Rong: "And you, you filthy worms in the comments! DON'T YOU DARE write any nonsense! I am VEGAN, do you hear me?!
This blue miracle is strictly plant-based, and I love nature! Everything else is a lie! Anyone who says otherwise gets blocked!"

(He swallows another bite while in the background, a flash of a red robe and the shadow of a heavy broadsword appear behind the kitchen door.
Qi Rong, with a hysterical smile, gives a thumbs-up to the camera, clearly fighting for his life.)

Quick question for you all: who is that one minor, background character from your favorite book who completely stole your heart? 📖🥺
For me, it’s Bai Jing (the Brocade Immortal, 白錦, Bái Jǐn) from TGCF, with Yin Yu running a very close second! I know, they are a bit of an odd pair, especially since the Brocade Immortal unintentionally played a part in how badly Yin Yu's fate turned out (though of course, it wasn't his fault at all, and those who read it know exactly what I mean).
But oh my god... I cried my eyes out over both of their stories. 😭💔
Bai Jing’s story hits so incredibly hard.

Especially if you’ve read the revised edition, you just know how much of a truly good person he was – though even from the original version, his real story and who he truly was shines through.
He is so tragically underrated! Honestly, I’d read a whole spin-off book about him, even though I’d need a million boxes of tissues because I'd just be sobbing the entire time. 🤧❤️

So... I finally did it. I’m writing a BL!
I’ve decided to officially jump into the world of BL webstories!
It’s my very first attempt at this genre, so please be gentle with me.

Is it a revolutionary masterpiece?
Well, let’s be real: in a world where every plot has been written at least twice, I’m not exactly reinventing the wheel.
I’m sticking to the "Golden Recipe" we all love to binge-read:

One legendary, cool God of War.

Reincarnate him as a cold-on-the-outside businessman.

Add a mandatory "contract bride" for the extra flavor.

And the heart of it all: a sweet-souled, devoted love that lasts through lifetimes.

But! I did try to add my own little twist to the story, so I hope you’ll enjoy it.
The synopsis has all the details - go take a peek!

Now, a small confession: writing long-form English is basically my "final boss" level.
While I’m fine with poems or lyrics, a whole story is a different beast.
I often find myself summoning "demonic" translation tools and battling with dictionaries just to survive a single paragraph.

Honestly, if I wrote this in Hungarian, I could easily give you 200 chapters of pure "writer-mania" energy!
But because I’m a bit of a "coward" in English, I usually end up carving the story shorter.
However, I promise to be brave this time!
I’m planning at least 19 chapters and some extras.

Please be patient with my "not-so-flawless" English...I’m doing my best! 😅
