The next DeepSoul Connextions this Thursday will centre a tribute to one of the greats of South African house - Caven Masetla-Moshoane aka Poizen. I want to give thanks for what he’s given to so many over the years and to commemorate him in the best way I know. Gone at the young age of 35 - but he’s left us with a timeless legacy. I never met the man but his positivity shone though in the music. Love and prayers are with his family and friends who are trying to cope with the sudden loss. And we all hope that Chymamusique recovers and makes it through too. A truly tragic day for music. ❤️❤️🙏🙏

DHR NEEDS YOU! Since the last two Google algorithm changes in May and August, YouTube has not been too kind to the channel and it's lost a lot of momentum.
I've been lucky enough to build up a big following in a short space of time, which has really gone beyond what I expected in the first two years of the channel. So honestly, thank you for all the love and support you've given, because the numbers on some of the videos are pretty wild.

Are there any artists, bands or songs that you’d like to see made into a mashup?
I’m far from short on ideas, as there’s plenty stacked in the vault ready to go, but curious to see people’s ideas.
I tend to work in then 50-75bpm or 95+ bpm range.
Doesn’t have to be a R&B/soul song I’m flipping - I’m open to any music as long as I can see potential in it ✌️
