Hi, I have lived and breathed vintage & classic cars, old lorries, automobilia and more here in the UK since the mid-1980s when I first laid a spanner on the rusting remains of a 1967 Triumph Spitfire. I learnt to drive in a Mk1 Austin Mini, and took my test in our Austin A40 Mk1. I created the Old Classic Car (OCC) site in 2001 to reflect my own interests in the world of aged automobiles and it is updated regularly. I hope that my videos about these characterful old cars, and my obsessions about them, help raise the profile of these wonderful relics of motoring's past. Fun drive out in the PA today to a meet-up at the former WW2 airfield at Sleap, we parked up alongside a similarly-coloured A7 special but it disappeared before I could grab a clear photo of it.

One of the top events we've been to lately was day two of the Broadway Car Show in the Cotswolds. At this annual event day one is for later supercars, while day two is given over to classic and vintage car enthusiasts. The day starts with a parade down the main high street in Broadway, after which cars park up along the high street, on verges, and on the village green. The sheer variety and quality of the cars that took part was really quite something, with the wonderful backdrop of Broadway itself just adding to the spectacle, along with glorious weather. Highlights included a gullwing 300SL, various vintage Bentleys, Bugattis, Jaguars, vintage speedsters, rare Tornado Talisman, Gordon Keeble and lots lots more. The video will be live from 06.30am Saturday UK time.
