Greetings fellow earthlings and welcome to JaekCaves! Your window into the world beneath our feet.
I’ve traded the mountain peaks for the deepest depths. From uncharted passage crawls to breathtaking crystal cave formations, this channel is dedicated to the grit and beauty of extreme caving.
If you live for the "squeeze," the sound of dripping water, and the mystery of what’s around the next bend, you’re in the right place.
What to expect:
Technical rope work and vertical descents.
Exploration of forgotten cave systems.
Gear reviews that actually survive the mud.

I once found the magic conch shell cave formation! 🐚 I asked it "why am I doing this?", it responded " please try again". I asked once more "why do I explore caves?", this time the reply was different "looking for Hollow Earth" it told me. It was at this moment I found my purpose in life. ALL HAIL THE MAGIC CONCH! 🙌

The entrance to this cave was so amazing. Just a little hole on the surface that immediately opened into a giant chamber. It made for some really neat photos!

Exploring Caves and Desecrating Graves! 💀
During New Year's I went out to the Great Saltpeter Cave Preserve in Kentucky for a caving event. GSP is a historical cave known for the mining of saltpeter for gunpowder during the war of 1812 and the Civil War. At some point I'll probably make a video going a bit more in depth on the history of the cave, but for now here's a few photos of my short time there.

Recently had the privilege to take a friend and his daughter on their first wild caving trip and explore a cave that's been on my list for a while! This cave was huge, full of life, incredible formations, and stunning crystals! Working on the footage now so stay tuned for an epic adventure!

The Caving K9, Doggo El Speleo, Cavin Cally! She'd follow me to the ends of the earth, and well kinda has on this recent adventure with @ActionAdventureTwins 😅. Calypso or Cally for short has actually been in a few caves believe it or not. This one however was definitely the longest wild cave she's explored. We crawled (she walked upright like it was nothing), climbed, and hiked miles through this massive cave full of unique formations and rooms the size of football fields! Check out the full vid now!

These tracks were found deep inside a cave. Like we're talking hundreds of feet into the earth. Climb downs, multiple rappels, and a crazy hike to get to this spot. What do you think they are?

Stages of cave squeezin:
1. Excitement (This is gonna be a fun one!)
2. Misery (Why have I voluntarily done this to myself!?)
3. More Misery (How long is this passage?)
4. Joy (We made it through alive!)
5. Repeat (Yeah we just keep doing this.)
Not sure if this was my tightest cave squeeze to date, but it definitely ranks up there! I know a bit of you couldn't watch the whole video due to claustrophobia and whatnot, but don't worry I'll be posting some shorter vids from this trip for those that couldn't make it through the full thing. 😅

I heard there were sand dunes out off Lake Michigan, so I had to check em out while I was up there. This is Warren Dunes State Park in Michigan. It's a really unique ecosystem. Giant sand dunes right next to deciduous forests! Feels like being in two states at once! I'd never hiked sand dunes before. Only did 2 or 3 miles, but it felt like more. Like walking in snow or slow motion 😅. Also tried to sandboard with a skate deck. Didn't work too well. It'd be worth coming back with a skimboard or snowboard!
