🍂 Hello Outdoor Lovers & Creatives! 🍂
I just came back from a quick trip to one of my favorite National Parks here in the Pacific Northwest - and wow, the fall colors are here! ✨ Golden leaves, warm light through the trees, and that crisp autumn air that makes everything feel cozy and calm.
Fall has always been my favorite season - the changing colors, the low golden sun, and the feeling that it’s the perfect time to slow down and paint. Also, my Birthday is in October! 🎨🍁
I’d love to hear from you: what’s YOUR favorite season, and why? Do you love the cozy vibes of fall like me, the fresh greens of spring, the heat and adventures of summer, or the quiet beauty of winter? Let’s share our favorite moments in the comments! 💬
📸 (I’ll be sharing a few of my favorite shots from this trip here!)

✨ Hi Outdoor Creatives! ✨
I’m almost done editing my next video, and I can’t wait to share it with you! This one is all about painting a rocky creek - rushing water, mossy rocks, and all those tricky textures. 🌊⛰️
In the video, I’ll walk you through my process step by step: from using masking fluid for highlights, to dry brushing for texture, and how I approach a subject that feels complicated (and a little intimidating!) to paint. I’ll also share how I practice and prepare before tackling a bigger finished piece.
Most of all, I want this video to inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and try painting those subjects that feel a little scary. 🎨 I’ll talk honestly about my own struggles too, because we’re all learning together!
Stay tuned - the video will be up very soon.
👉 What’s a subject in nature you’ve always wanted to paint, but felt nervous about?

Shoutout to all my Outdoor Creatives! 🌲🎨
When you’re out in nature, do you ever challenge yourself to paint something you’ve never tried before? It could be rushing water, tricky lighting, or a type of landscape that feels intimidating.
This week I faced my own challenge - painting moving water - and wow… it was a humbling but exciting study!
💬 I want to hear from you:
What’s the most challenging subject you’ve ever painted outdoors, and how did it go?
Let’s swap stories and inspire each other to keep growing out there! 🌿

Hi friends!
Recently I got a chance to hike to this absolutely gorgeous remote alpine lake here in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. It was such a great hike and the view was incredible. I did some plein air sketching (of course!😅) and filmed some footage to share!
If you like hiking, would you mind sharing in the comments below if you ever tried plein air while on the hike? If yes, what are your absolute favourite art supplies to take with you? 🙂

I’m Back from Vacation! ✨
Hi friends! I just got back from visiting my family and spending some time in my hometown - where I grew up surrounded by beautiful forests, lakes, and so many memories.
While I was there, I filmed a lot of footage that I’m so excited to share with you soon! I did a bunch of plein air painting (of course) and soaked in every moment of that special place.
I’m currently working on two new videos:
🎨 One will be a plein air painting in a peaceful pine forest - one of my favorite spots ever - along with a full in-studio version so you can paint along with me.
🌄 The second will be a walk through my hometown, exploring the beautiful places I visited (and painted at!) while I was there.
I’m still editing everything and don’t want to rush it -I really want to craft these videos with love and care. So, the uploads might take a little longer, but I promise they’re coming soon!
Thanks for being here and for all your support. See you soon!

Hi friends!
I hope your weekend is going amazing! I have a couple updates for you here:
I will be traveling internationally for the next 2 weeks - filming plein air and visiting my family.
But I made sure to prepare something special for you! There is a new video that I just scheduled for posting this Tuesday. I will be hiking to a breathtaking alpine lake in the Pacific Northwest National Forest, sketching there in watercolor and gouache, having a cup of coffee with an amazing view. Another half of the video - with in-studio footage of the final watercolor and gouache painting.
I hope you will really enjoy watching this one!
Thank again for supporting my channel! I appreciate you guys!
