Perfekt Physio

#Clavicle/Beauty bone/collar bone :-
• only long bone to be present horizontally
• first bone to start ossifying and only bone which ossifies in membrane
• present subcutaneously in the pectoral gridle
• has two ends and one shaft
• lateral end is flat and medial end is round shaped with four surfaces
• the anterior border of 1/3rd lateral part is concave forwards and the anterior border of 2/3rd medial part is convex forwards
• the inferior surface has a rough oval impression at the medial end and the lateral half of this surface has a longitudinal subclavian groove
• the nutrient foramen lies at the lateral end of the groove
