Pale Horse Survival And Tactical focuses on the primitive aspects of survival. ancient techniques which date back to the dawn of mankind. other subjects covered are herbalism,identification and harvesting wild herbs and edibles,decoctions,tinctures,salves,fomentations. gear is fine however an over dependence on gear can get a person killed. gear can be lost,conviscated,stolen and or will eventually wear out. in an extended survival situation this leaves a person vulnerable. for every piece of gear in a persons arsenal,they should know the primitive equivalent well. simply watching videos and reading books will not suffice,in order to master primitive techniques one must practice. im personaly a minimalist survivalist with 35 years experience hands on. a minimalist carries a limited amount of gear. I do not profess to know all there is to know about this subject,im a student and always shall be learning. I look foreward to sharing and trading thoughts and ideas with my viewers.

I've had a trail cam set up on one of the properties where I've heard tree knocks.
It's been running for about a month now.
I went in today to change the batteries and switch out the SD cards,clean the lens etc.
I'm reviewing the pics and caught something with long fur that appears to be trying to avoid the field of view of the camera lens.
This anomaly moved the camera 3 times on the same day. The cam is attached securely to a tree and doesn't move easily.
When the anomaly was caught on the edge of the Pic the photo overexposed at the same time.
When I was walking down the hillside to the camera today,I was halfway down the hill when suddenly something went crashing through the woods breaking branches.
Whatever it was was big and it only moved about 30 or 40 ft then stopped. The woods were totally silent.
I'll post the episode soon and will film a follow up showing the trail cam pics and discuss the results.

If all goes well,I'm heading up to the 160 acre property to mine this Sunday and set up a trail cam.
I was on a part of the property taking soil samples when I heard several very distinct tree knocks.
We'll see what the cam picks up.
I may get a few more and set them up at different spots on the property and run them until winter sets in and the snow chases me out of there.

I was traveling down a forest service road on my way to my girlfriends house a week ago. As I rounded a curve I seen to my left and about 40 yards off the road a large brown sasquatch walking quickly.
I seen the right arm swinging,large right shoulder,large head,chocolate brown fur.
It was walking quickly on 2 legs as if it was trying to get out of sight.
I was on a curve and observed it for about 3 seconds then had to direct my vision back to the road. By the time I looked back to it's location it was gone .
This is the same area that my girlfriend and I have heard vocalizations.
Last night she was awakened by a terrible smell coming through the window that was open a Crack.
She said the smell was terrible,a cross between skunk and very bad body odor.
The smell lingered for a bit then dissipated.
