Our time in French Polynesia has been nothing short of glorious. We'll post an overview of our ports soon, but we just wanted to celebrate a reason why we chose Windstar for this cruise.
On most days when anchored, Windstar opens a marina at the aft of the ship. You can swim, lounge, kayak, use a SUPs, etc. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery without being bothered by pesky sand. We were unable to use the marina when we last sailed on Windstar (2019, Baltic), but now we are hooked.

The United States Transportation Security Administration will no longer require passengers to remove their shoes before going through a scanner. What are your thoughts on this change? Any other security procedures you'd like to see reconsidered or removed?

Our love of cruising is largely thanks to Andrew’s parents, Bernie and Judy.
Sadly, we said our final goodbyes to Bernie this week. He was always up for an adventure, even when his health forced him to stop. A long struggle with Parkinson’s disease kept him land-bound, yet he still spent many of his final days flipping through cruise brochures and mapping out itineraries he wished he could take.
Fortunately we were able to make some eternal cruise memories together, from our first-ever cruise to Alaska in 2017, to a Panama Canal transit in 2022, and finally a Danube river journey in 2023.
We hope we’re fortunate enough to travel into our golden years like Bernie and Judy. We will always miss him, yet we look forward to keeping his spirit alive on our future travels.

It can be hard publishing videos when you are working full time. But we tried to make the best of it and do something fun while bogged down with work. We've just released our Explora Journeys overview. It is a bit different from what we've done in the past, but we hope you enjoy it. We'll go back to our regularly scheduled content in a few weeks (once the work load lightens up)!
