February 14, Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone! 💝💌💘🩷💖❤️🍫
(Yes I’m aware it might not be the 14th for some of you, but timezones are weird)
Today is a day to honour love, affection and admiration for someone you care about. Someone who is special to you, spending time with them. Giving them a gift, but not just any, something you pour your heart into. If you do have that special someone, whether it’s a significant other or even a friend, I hope you have a lovely day! If there is someone you want to ask to be your Valentine, I think you should go for it. You’ll regret it otherwise without that closure.
For the first time I… do actually have a Valentine, and I feel lucky for it. Not someone I know in person, and she’s not my girlfriend, as much as I’d be open to that idea with her. But she’s a sweetheart and I can’t wait for us to do something special together, as well as a gift I have planned.
But for any ladies or gentlemen who don’t, I also want you to know that if there isn’t someone, it’s okay to be your own Valentine today. There’s nothing wrong with that. After all, you should love yourself and honour yourself too. So take this day to do something special for yourself, you deserve chocolates and flowers too.
One more thing, please do try to find love outside of waifus and husbandos from anime and video games 😅 don’t worry it’s okay because that absolutely applies to me too, lol.
