Who is your absolute favourite villain of ALL time, and why? From any piece of fiction/media (movies, tv shows, cartoons, anime and manga, books, comics, video games) NO antiheroes though because they aren’t villains
I think mine has definitely gotta be Vergil from Devil May Cry. He’s just as cool as Dante and Dante is already one of the coolest characters in gaming, a perfect foil to our demon hunting hero, great backstory, peak SSS design, interesting motives and philosophy formed from tragedy, quotable lines, banger theme songs, and of course he’s also just pure 100% badass and power. Not to mention Daniel Southworth nails his performance. Cell from DBZ would be second after him for me.

Remember how Vergil asked himself what if him and Dante switched places? So in an alternate universe where Vergil is good and Dante is bad, if Dante ended up splitting himself into two beings (somehow, idk if he’d have Yamato) would V be called D instead? Man, I can’t believe Vergil and Nero didn’t see D’s betrayal coming.
