This year, I upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5600X to a 5800X, and then to a 5700X3D. Unfortunately, the switch to the 5800X turned out to be a mistake, as it didn't deliver any noticeable performance improvement over the 5600X. At the time, the 5700X3D wasn't available, and the 5800X3D variant was priced too high. Initially, I had planned to move to the AM5 platform with a 7800X3D, but with the arrival of the 5700X3D, I've decided to stick with the AM4 platform for at least another year.
