O'Driscoll Family Homestead Experiment
Our family recently relocated from British Columbia to Nova Scotia to reunite with our family on the east coast, have our children grow up with their cousins, and to build a happy and sustainable life on Cape Breton Island. We recently purchased 27 acres and a home in the Cape Breton Highlands.
We are beginning to build our homestead from scratch as of September 2020. We have never done this before. If you are looking for seasoned professional homesteading families to follow on YouTube, you should probably look elsewhere.

In case you missed it, Dominic and I sold everything and have moved to South Korea. We have arrived, ourselves and the kids are jetlagged but happy to be here on our next adventure. This will be the only video from our new channel that I post here (Don't worry, I won't flood your feed lol).

Many of you have reached out to see how we are doing prepping for Fiona and to wish us good luck. We are so grateful we are in your thoughts. For all of our friends here in the Atlantic provinces I hope you stay safe!
We've got water, food, light source and propane. We've taken down the trampoline, secured shelters and animals, moved/ secured anything that might blow away.
We're just waiting and watching the many iterations of the paths that Fiona might take.

No video today my friends!
I had a final assignment (actually 4 assignments 😅) due for grad school yesterday and I've had zero time to work on a video. Instead of rushing out something, I'm spending the day with my family working on projects in the yard. I'm filming a video for you while we do it and it will be out Wednesday! Sorry about that, I hate to miss a Sunday upload, life caught up with me this week.
