Using a vintage mechanical keyboard is fun. Having one that doesn't work isn't. But repairing it for less than $15 in parts is even better.

Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. This 2009 Canon Vixia HV40 was the cheapest HD tape camcorder I could find, and was sold for parts with a broken power jack and a cranky cassette compartment.
Also, to everyone tired of the old tape camcorder videos, this’ll be the last one for quite awhile.

In case you didn’t already see it, my most recent video is a continuation of the AT&T Merlin phone system review video I did back in January. In this video, I look at one of the newer style phones that would accompany the system—and unlike the older phones, this one has a special speakerphone feature that’s not as boring as it sounds.
I know, I know, I’m probably the only one talking about old ‘80s and ‘90s telephony equipment. Regularly scheduled programming will return in my next video slated for this Saturday.
