আজ পিতৃদিবস, একটি আনন্দের দিন, বাবাকে ভালোবাসা আর কৃতজ্ঞতা জানানোর দিন। কিন্তু আমার মতো যাঁরা তাঁদের বাবাকে হারিয়েছেন, তাঁদের জন্য এটি স্মরণ আর শ্রদ্ধার একটি দিন - যিনি সন্তানের জীবনকে যত্ন করে আগলে রেখেছিলেন। তিনি যেভাবে তাঁর ভালোবাসা, আত্মত্যাগ সবকিছু দিয়ে আমাদেরকে তিলে তিলে গড়ে তুলেছিলেন, শুধু শব্দ দিয়ে এই গভীর কৃতজ্ঞতাকে প্রকাশ করা যায় কি !?

একজন বাবা শুধু রুটি-রুজির যোগানদাতা নন; তিনি একজন পথপ্রদর্শক, রক্ষাকর্তা এবং অনবরত সাহস জোগানোর উৎস। একটি মেয়ের কাছে তাঁর বাবা প্রথম হিরো - যিনি তাঁকে আত্মবিশ্বাস, দৃঢ়তা এবং নিঃস্বার্থ ভালোবাসার শিক্ষা দেন। তিনি শেখান কীভাবে জীবনের চ্যালেঞ্জের মুখোমুখি হতে হয়, স্বপ্ন দেখতে আর তা অর্জনে এগিয়ে যেতে। তাঁর উপস্থিতি এক নিরাপত্তার অনুভূতি এনে দেয়, মনে করিয়ে দেয়, তাঁর জীবনে তিনি সবসময় তাঁর পাশে আছেন।


বাবার অনুপস্থিতি আমার জীবনে যে শূন্যতার সৃষ্টি করেছে, তা কোনো শব্দ দিয়েই পূরণ করতে পারবো না। একজন মেয়ে যে তাঁর বাবাকে হারিয়েছেন, তিনিই অনুভব করতে পারেন সেই অপূরণীয় ক্ষতি—তাঁর অনুপ্রেরণার অভাব, জ্ঞানের আশ্রয় এবং স্নেহের উষ্ণতা। তাঁর স্মৃতির মধ্যেই তাঁর শিক্ষাগুলো ধরে রাখা যায়। কথায় নয়, অনুভূতিতেই তাঁর উপস্থিতি খুঁজে বেড়াই। যন্ত্রণা কখনো পুরোপুরি মিলিয়ে যায় না, তবে এটা ভেবে নিই যে তাঁর সাথে ভাগ করে নেওয়া মুহূর্তগুলোকে ভালোবাসতে হবে।

যদিও বাবা শারীরিকভাবে আমাদের সঙ্গে নেই, তবু তাঁর প্রভাব আমাদের জীবনের পরতে পরতে জড়িয়ে আছে - নীরবে আমাদের পথ দেখাচ্ছেন প্রতিটি পদক্ষেপে।



গত বছরের শেষে বাবার স্মৃতির উদ্দেশ্যে একটি বাংলা আধুনিক গান গেয়েছিলাম, যা আমার গাওয়া প্রথম বাংলা আধুনিক গান। আমার ভাই পার্থ রাণা (@partha rana), বাবার প্রতি আমার সমস্ত অনুভুতিগুলোকে কথায় ও সুরে বেঁধেছিল অসাধারণভাবে। পরিকল্পনায় সন্দীপ (@sandip chakraborty) বন্ধুরা শুনে জানাবেন – এই অনুভূতিগুলো আপনাদেরও মন ছুঁয়ে যায় কিনা !
