๐ฟ From Biodiversity Documentation to Wildlife Forensics: Usha Martin University Marks Wildlife Week 2026
The Department of Forensic Science at Usha Martin University, Ranchi, observed National Wildlife Week 2026 through five academic and awareness initiatives under the theme โConnecting Habitats, Thriving Wildlife.โ
From documenting 417 herbarium specimens and curating insect collections to conducting wildlife forensics awareness sessions and expert interviews, the initiatives promoted biodiversity conservation, scientific learning, and awareness of wildlife crime.
Through these activities, UMU reaffirmed its commitment to experiential learning, interdisciplinary research, and wildlife protection. ๐พ๐ฑ
