🧠 I finally made the simplest explanation of Reinforcement Learning - visual, intuitive, and truly beginner-friendly.

If RL has ever felt confusing or overwhelming, this breaks it down step-by-step with zero math and tons of clarity.

I’m really proud of this one - I think it will finally make RL “click” for a lot of people.

I rarely get excited about publishing my tutorials… but this one is different 🫣

I've been dreaming of covering Reinforcement Learning for years — but I could never figure out how to explain it to beginners without overwhelming them.

After all, RL isn’t usually a "starter topic" and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve told my viewers: “Just skip RL for now — come back when you have more experience.” 🙃

Why? Because I was terrified of trying to simplify Deep Q-Learning!
It’s the backbone of any proper RL introduction, and it always felt too big, too complex, too much to chew… until recently! 😉

After weeks of experimenting, sketching, rewriting, and rethinking, I finally cracked it! I found a way to explain RL to absolute beginners — using colourful illustrations, real-life maze-exploration animations, and intentionally oversimplified functions.

Scholars might say I simplified it “too much”… But honestly? That’s the only way to make this topic approachable to normal people.

I made my introduction so clear that even kids can follow along — and I’m incredibly proud of that! If you can explain it to a 6-year-old, that’s when you truly understand what you’re talking about.
