I felt truly proud and deeply honoured to be invited to the Reception Celebrating the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Thailand’s Father’s Day, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (King Rama 9) held on 3 December 2025 at the Royal Thai Embassy in London. @thaiemblondon
The Ambassador’s heartfelt speech, the delicious dishes from all four regions of Thailand, and the warmth of the Thai community made the evening so special.
I also had the chance to pay my respects to the late Queen Mother, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, who passed away recently.
Grateful for an unforgettable evening that made me feel so connected to my Thai home 🤍🇹🇭

Shaking up your midweek with my Shaking beef 🥩
Ingredient
220 g rump steak, thin sliced
1 onions, thin sliced
2 spring onions, cut into 3 cm long
2 tbsp Amoy oyster sauce
1 tbsp honey
½ Red chillli, finely sliced
1 tbsp ginger, matchstick sliced
1 tsp garlic, minced
3 tbsp vegetable cooking oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp corn flour
(Serve with rice)
Method
Sprinkle some corn flour all over sliced rump steak and mix until the beef coated with flour.
Add vegetable cooking oil on medium heat pan, add garlic, quick stir, then add onion and rump steak in and stir well until just cooked.
Seasoning with oyster sauce, ginger, honey, then add spring onion, sprinkle some sesame seeds and red chilli. Serve with rice.
