সোদপুর রেলস্টেশনে আজ আবারও দেখলাম এই লোকটাকে। এনার করুন অবস্থা দেখে খারাপ লাগলো। এই অবস্থায় থাকলে সেপটিক হয়ে মারা পড়বে খুব তাড়াতাড়ি।

এই মানসিক ভারসাম্যহীন লোকটাকে কোনো সমাজসেবী সংস্থা উদ্ধার করে চিকিৎসার ব্যাবস্থা করলে, হয়তো লোকটা বেচেঁ যাবে !

Have you ever faced such an experience (phone call)? Sharing an experience….

I received an unknown phone call today (+916292323476) from a person claiming to be a staff member of Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, Shyambazar Kolkata Branch. The person told me that I am a lapsed life insurance policy holder, the policy name is Reliance Super Pension Benefit Plan, which was started in 2008 through a 3rd party company called Golden Trust Financial Services (but I don't remember exactly if I had any such policy). And he said that the value of my lapsed policy has increased to about 70 thousand, if I want I can get that money or activate the policy and he will help me in this regard.

The person said that currently Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Company is offering the opportunity for customers to renew such old lapsed policies. The person requested me to provide copies of Adhaar card and personal documents as KYC verification through an email. However, I am skeptical about the identity of the person and the veracity of this information. I talked with him for a while.Of course, the phone came twice about this same issue.

However, I have emailed this incident to Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Authority for verification. Reliance Nippon Insurance Authority called me and told me that the whole thing is fraud and they will investigate the matter further.

বন্ধুরা এরকম অভিজ্ঞতার (ফোন কল) মুখোমুখি হয়েছেন কখনো? একটি অভিজ্ঞতা শেয়ার করছি ....

রিলায়েন্স নিপ্পন লাইফ ইন্স্যুরেন্স, শ্যামবাজার কোলকাতা শাখার একজন স্টাফ মেম্বার বলে দাবি করা একজন ব্যক্তির কাছ থেকে আজকে আমি একটি অজানা ফোন কল পেয়েছিলাম (+916292323476)। ব্যক্তিটি আমাকে জানিয়েছেন যে আমি নাকি একটি lapsed জীবন বীমা পলিসি হোল্ডার, পলিসির নাম রিলায়েন্স সুপার পেনশন লাভ প্ল্যান, যা গোল্ডেন ট্রাস্ট ফাইন্যান্সিয়াল সার্ভিসেস নামে একটি 3rd party কোম্পানির মাধ্যমে 2008 সালে শুরু হয়েছিল ( কিন্তু এরকম কোনো পলিসি আমি করেছিলাম কিনা সেটা আমার সঠিক মনে নেই) এবং তিনি জানান যে আমার lapsed পলিসির ভ্যালু বেড়ে প্রায় 70 হাজারের মত হয়েছে , চাইলে আমি ওই টাকাটা পেতে পারি বা পলিসি এক্টিভেট করতে পারি এবং এ ব্যাপারে উনি সাহায্য করবেন।

ওই ব্যক্তি জানান যে বর্তমানে রিলায়েন্স নিপ্পন লাইফ ইন্স্যুরেন্স কোম্পানি গ্রাহকদের জন্য এই ধরনের পুরোনো ল্যাপসড পলিসি নতুন করে চালু করার সুযোগ দিচ্ছে। ওই ব্যক্তি অনুরোধ করেছিলেন যেন আমি একটি ইমেল এর মাধ্যমে কেওয়াইসি ভেরিফিকেশন হিসাবে আমার আঁধার কার্ড ও ব্যক্তিগত নথিগুলির কপি সরবরাহ করি৷ যাইহোক, আমি ওই ব্যক্তির পরিচয় এবং এই তথ্যের সত্যতা সম্পর্কে সন্দিহান। ওনার সঙ্গে আমি ইচ্ছে করেই বেশ কিছুক্ষণ কথা বললাম। অবশ্য আগেও এই একই ব্যপারে দুবার ফোন এসেছিল। অবশ্য আমি এই ঘটনাটি Reliance Nippon Life Insurance authority কে Email করে জানিয়েছি সত্যতা যাচাইয়ের জন্য। Reliance Nippon Insurance Authority আমাকে ফোন করে জানিয়েছে যে ব্যাপারটা পুরোটাই fraud এবং তারা investigate করবেন।

বন্ধুরা এরকম অভিজ্ঞতার মুখোমুখি হয়েছেন কখনো? যদি হন তাহলে প্লিজ একটু শেয়ার করবেন যাতে অন্যেরাও সাবধান হতে পারেন।

এতো Action, Sound & Climax (খিচুড়ি টাইপ) আর সহ্য হয় না !
