ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾದ ‘ಕುರಲ್ ಪರ್ಬ’ (ಕೊರಲ್ ಪರ್ಬ / ಇಲ್ಲು ನಿನ್ಸೆ) ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಡಗರ ಮೂಡಿದೆ. ಭೂಮಿ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಹೊಸ ನವಧಾನ್ಯದ ತೆನೆಯನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ತಂದು ಪೂಜಿಸುವ ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಸಜೀವ ಪ್ರತೀಕ.

ಹೊಸ ತೆನೆ ಕೊಯ್ಯುವುದು: ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಗದ್ದೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ನೆಲ್ಲಿನ ತೆನೆಗಳನ್ನು (ಕುರಲ್) ಕೊಯ್ದು, ಮಾವಿನ ಎಲೆ, ಹೂವುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ 'ತುಂಪೈ' ಮತ್ತು 'ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಿ'ಯಂತಹ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗಿಡಮೂಲಿಕೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ತರಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಸ್ವರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತ: ತೆನೆಯನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಜಲದಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದು, ಹೂವುಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ತೆನೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವುದು: ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆಯ ನಂತರ, ನವಧಾನ್ಯದ ತೆನೆಯನ್ನು ಮನೆಯ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲು, ಅಡುಗೆ ಮನೆ, ಧಾನ್ಯದ ಕೊಠಡಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೃಷಿ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ವರ್ಷಪೂರ್ತಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಅನ್ನಪೂರ್ಣೇಶ್ವರಿಯ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಬಲವಾದ ನಂಬಿಕೆ #gaggaraaround16holyrituals #kural #tulunadu #chowthi #rituals
