Hello everyone,
My band has had an idea brewing for a while now, & full credit where it’s due this is inspired by The Longest Johns.
We want to bring together a whole bunch of shanty, folk, and community singers bands, solo singers, anyone who can and can't sing & wants to be part of something collective and make a community
How it works:
We pick a song (for example: Leave Her, Johnny)
The Smiling Bastards do the verses
Everyone joins in on the chorus
We’re aiming for 4–5 verses total
We close it out with a final TSB verse and one last big chorus with everyone
This is about community, not perfection.
