Welcome to Backyard Birds of Yorkshire — a peaceful corner of South Yorkshire where nature takes centre stage.
Last year, our little birdhouse was home to 8 beautiful Blue Tit chicks who hatched and took their first flights — but we didn’t have a camera then. This year, we’re ready to watch every moment! From nest building and hatching to those first tiny wing flaps, we’ll follow the full story of life in the birdhouse.
Between nesting seasons, we’ll keep the camera rolling to see who visits during autumn and winter — robins, sparrows, maybe even a curious wren or two.
Join me on this calm, real-time look at local wildlife — no big production, just authentic Yorkshire garden life and the birds who call it home.
Subscribe to follow the journey, from empty nest to new life once again.
