It's Iranian ballistic missiles vs Israeli Air Defense.

Israel can't win this in a linear fight, because :
1. Iran has a pretty large stockpile
2. Interceptor missiles are very costly and more than one may be required for each incoming missile.

Israel's best bet is to use the air superiority it has over Iranian skies to hit the launchers and depots.
This is not easy - Iran is a large country where assets are dispersed along with decoys and IAF has to fly more than 1000 miles or 1600 km to carry out strikes.
The absence of a heavy bomber like that B-52 will be felt like never before.

Let's see how it goes.

Apart from the hardware, there is another aspect - the physiological angle.
Israel feels its existential battle and its people may be willing to go the extra mile which the Iranian military personnel may not be.

Clearing few things:


1. No F-35 has been downed. Too many fake post and AI generated videos.
2. Israel seem to have air superiority. This was expected since Iranian Air Force is not a modern one & air defenses are not too sophisticated.
3. The ballistic missile barrage against Israel will lose tempo as IAF pounds launchpads and storage facilities.
4. This is turning out to be very costly battle for both the parties. Sustaining this for more than 3-4 weeks may not be possible for either.

Statement by the Israel Defense Force (IDF) about tonight’s strikes against Iran:

“A short while ago, following the directive of the political echelon, the IDF launched a preemptive, precise, combined offensive based on high-quality intelligence to strike Iran's nuclear program, and in response to the Iranian regime's ongoing aggression against Israel. A short while, dozens of IAF jets completed the first stage that included strikes on dozens of military targets, including nuclear targets in different areas of Iran.

The public is requested to follow the instructions of the IDF Home Front Command, which will be updated as necessary, and act calmly and responsibly. The IDF and the relevant authorities are prepared for a wide range of scenarios in defense and offense that may be needed.

For years, the Iranian regime has been waging a direct and indirect campaign of terror against the State of Israel, by funding and directing terrorist activities via its proxies across the Middle East, while advancing toward obtaining a nuclear weapon. The Iranian regime is at the head of the axis responsible for all terrorist attacks against the State of Israel since the beginning of the "Swords of Iron" War, including by arming and funding the Hamas terror organization which was responsible for the October 7th Massacre. During the "Swords of Iron" War, Iran even directly attacked Israel twice, firing hundreds of missiles toward the State of Israel.

The Iranian regime has proclaimed that its objective is to destroy the State of Israel. Senior officials in the Iranian regime have publicly declared their intent to destroy Israel, and are operating to achieve this together with their proxies in the Middle East. Today, Iran is closer than ever to obtaining a nuclear weapon. Weapons of mass destruction in the hands of the Iranian regime are an existential threat to the State of Israel and a significant threat to the wider world. The State of Israel will not allow a regime whose objective is to destroy the State of Israel to obtain weapons of mass destruction.

The IDF has conducted a process of preparations for a campaign on the frontline and on the home front. The resilience of Israel's citizens will be an important factor of the campaign.

The IDF is ready to continue to act as required. The State of Israel has the obligation to act in defense of its citizens and will continue to do so everywhere it is required to do so, as we have done in the past.

The IDF is conducting an ongoing situational assessment and will update on any developments.”

⏺️ India vs Pakistan Update:

1. On April 22, a terror attack in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley, in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India, claimed 26 lives.

2. The Islamist terrorists specifically targeted Hindu male tourists and cold-blooded assassinations were carried out with many shot in the head. Men were killed in front of wives and children.

3. Investigations into the terror conspiracy have confirmed, Hashim Musa, one of the assailants identified behind the massacre, is a former para commando of the Pakistan army's special forces. Pakistan has been using terror as a state policy for a long time. Osama bin Laden was hiding in this country.

4. India struck 9 terror camps in Pakistan as part of Operation Sindoor. Sindodor is a traditional vermilion red or orange-red or maroon cosmetic powder from South Asia, usually worn by married women along the part of their hairline. Precision weapons were used which seem to include Scalp missiles, Brahmos, and Haroop.

5. IC-814 hijack kingpin & Daniel Pearl’s killer Abdul Rauf Azhar was eliminated in Indian strikes apart from many others. Notably, Pakistani Army officers were present at the funeral of these terrorists.

6. Pakistan shelled civilian areas in the Line Of Control in response. Civilian casualties have been reported.

7. Pakistan escalated further and tried to hit military targets but India’s air defense has countered this effectively. India is using a holistic multi-layer Anti Access Area Denial (A2/AD) umbrella ———S-400 > MRSAM > Akash > Spyder > L70. No Indian military sites suffered any major damage.

8. India hit almost all air defense sites in Pak cities including the capital Islamabad. It has also retaliated by decimating Pakistani Bases- Rahimyar Khan, Murid in Chakwal, Rafiqui in Jhang and Sialkot.

9. There is a lot of speculation about the downing of Indian Rafael as well as Pakistani J-17 and F-16. All these are unconfirmed, there is a lot of disinformation floating around.
