Hi I’m Lou… Dessert obsessed baker, busy 9-to-5er, and the recipe developer and photographer behind Crumbs and Corkscrews. Based in the UK, I live in the beautiful Cotswolds.
Crumbs and Corkscrews began in 2012 when I returned to work after running my award-winning cake design business. Now, the blog is about so much more than just bakes, it’s about deliciously easy desserts.
My goal is simply to inspire you to make like a life sweeter in and out of the kitchen and you'll find here a little bit of everything – from brownies to cupcakes, cheesecake to ice cream, and everything in between.
Most of the recipes I create are super easy with simple ingredients and no-faff equipment. You will also find plenty of baking hints and tips to getting the best results every time.
