Hey guys, so the new Season 5 original scripts have been released! It is insane, here's all the major stuff that has been revealed:
-Thomas and the Rumors is a heavily cut down version of Thomas’ Tunnel
-Cranky was only in cranky bugs
-Daisy was in Stepney Gets Lost
-Duke was in Duncan Gets Spooked, Rusty and The Boulder, and Snow, and had Rusty’s storyteller role in the first and third ones.
-(My favorite reveal) James and Super Ed was a cancelled episode for being too wacky and introduces a new diesel.
-Bertram was originally named as the Old Warrior only.
-Duke is canonically the oldest NG engine in the TVS.
-Thumper DIED by exploding in the original version of Rusty and the Boulder and Boulder spoke.
-Speedy Sid was a character intended to debut in Thomas’ Tunnel
-The old manor is located on Thomas’ branch
-BoCo, Edward, James, and Henry were meant to be in snow.
-There are multiple snow machines for the big engines
-Percy was in Haunted Henry
-Percy and Duck were in Toby’s discovery
-Mavis and Thomas were in Toby and the flood and Harold originally rescued Toby, not Percy.
-Bye George originally had him picked up at Crovan’s gate
-Terence was originally in Put Upon Percy
-Henry originally had a larger role in a better view for Gordon
-Old slow coach was originally envisioned as male, hence her face lol
-There may have been more than 26 episodes
-The narrow gauge engines were supposed to appear in Sir Topham Hatt’s Holiday.
-Knapford, Elsbridge, and dryaw all originally appeared
-Thomas’s encounter with George in Bye George was originally supposed to occur at night
-Stepney gets lost was originally a lot darker
-Kirk Ronan was supposed to be a two tiered station
-MANY episodes has their title changed
