The Echoes of Golden Prison ✨

Behind the shimmer of gold lies a prison disguised as luxury.
This artwork explores the thorny, caged side of power — beautiful on the surface, yet suffocating underneath. The earthworm-like forms symbolize quiet resistance, creatures determined to break through the golden barriers trapping them. But as they fight for freedom, they slowly begin absorbing the very colour of the chains they destroy, showing how systems of control leave traces on those who challenge them.
The rainbow-like semicircles radiating from the corner represent an unseen aura of strength and liberation — a force pushing these beings forward despite the weight of oppression. Together, the textures, gold fragments, and flowing organic forms create a story of transformation, survival, and the painful complexity of breaking free. ✨

The Paradox of Nature

This painting explores the illusion of morality—how good can be masked as evil, and evil can appear virtuous. It reflects the paradox that individuals often grow in environments opposite to the nature they are expected to embody, yet emerge as something entirely different from what those surroundings suggest.

Soft hues of light pink, yellow, and lavender symbolize happiness, joy, excitement, and innocence, while the darker tonal values represent danger, pain, anger, and fear. Together, they create a visual tension between appearance and reality.

The blue base signifies a shared environment, emphasizing that both forces coexist within the same space. Silver and gold swatches divided across the two halves represent the dominant influences under which each personality is nurtured. Meanwhile, the scattered splatters of gold and silver on the opposing sides indicate the subdued traits that quietly persist within them.

The dominance of silver on the wings of the evil persona suggests that even when one is raised with goodness, corruption is still possible. Conversely, the prominence of gold on the opposing side reflects that despite being shaped by darkness, goodness can still prevail. Ultimately, the work highlights the fluid nature of morality—where choice, not origin, defines who we become.
