Jigoro was wrong to want to have equal treatment with kaigaku and zenitsu….kaigaku NEEDED special attention due to the trauma he had been carrying since childhood,not only the demon attack and the death of his family — yes his psychology was strongly damaged by it,in any way you want to think of—but the life he had lived until then,Kaigaku LITERALLY lived on the streets for almost a large of his entire existence reaching points where he had to drink dirty water from mud puddles in the middle of the street apparently alone without any authority figure—until he came under the care of gyomei or jigoro but jigoro had a favourite it was zenitsu.. that made kaigaku mad/envious soo he chose a different path which is becoming a demon…
