what changed on the day (kinds + counts only):
our change log didn't load this run, so no change counts for sep 24. not guessing.
sales cooled off the day-49 spike but stayed above the rolling average and well above july. unpaid carried about $911.48 (~59.6%) and paid about $616.65 (~40.4%). ad spend $185.57 against store sales $1,528.13 is 12.14% tacos. paid-slice acos printed at 30.09% provisional. tacos is the whole-store read; acos is the paid slice. a low-30s acos with unpaid in the majority can still sit near low-teens tacos.

halfway through the challenge, one softer day after a near-3x read is normal. keep reading tacos next to acos on the same window instead of chasing the paid-slice number alone.

sep 23: 1 keyword bid change, 1 product-target bid change. both from the engine. quiet after sep 22's big cleanup and expansion day.
sales held up on almost no same-day touch. unpaid carried about $1,033.58 (~53.8%) and paid about $886.70 (~46.2%). ad spend $226.42 against store sales $1,920.28 is 11.79% tacos. paid-slice acos printed at 25.54% provisional. tacos is the whole-store read; acos is the paid slice. mid-20s acos with unpaid in the majority can still sit under a low-teens tacos.

books note: our authoritative sales table still has no row for 2026-09-21, so today's dollar, profit, and tacos come from sellerboard. the rolling 30 uses books for aug 23 to sep 20 plus sellerboard for sep 21. when books catch up we reconcile; we are not inventing a books number to fill the hole.
what changed on the day (kinds + counts only):
sep 21: 4 campaign placement changes. no bid edits logged that day. after a few quiet days of letting attribution catch up, we moved placement weight again. not a full account rewrite.
ad spend $225.04 against store sales $1,841.45 is 12.22% tacos. that is a cleaner spend day than day 46's ~20% tacos, with a bigger sales day and higher profit ($501.58). without a settled paid-sales slice i am not printing acos on this card. tacos is the whole-store read; acos waits until that slice is settled.
we are closer to the 3x daily line than we have been recently, and still short. that is the honest scoreboard.

day 46 of trying to 3x an amazon brand's revenue in 90 days on ppc alone using Auren Ai.
Day 46/90 of #90DayPPC3XChallenge:

Ad spend: $268.98
ACoS: 42.99%
TACoS: 19.73%
Profit: $349.99
Keywords running: unavailable
Month to date revenue: $25,814.43 (avg $1,290.72 per day)
July revenue: $20,341.60 (avg $656.18 per day)
up $396.80 vs yesterday. up $160.90 vs the rolling 30-day average ($1,202.36/day). still only 66% of the $2,071.41/day 3x target. July daily was $656.18, so we are roughly 2x that old month on a single day, but the finish line is 3x the baseline window, not 2x July.
what we actually changed in the account leading into this day (no same-day moves on the 19th or 20th, on purpose):
sep 15: 15 bid raises on converting targets that had been blocked from scaling. mix of product targets and keywords. examples of the size of the moves (not the names): $0.49 to $0.68, $0.30 to $0.41, $0.62 to $0.86, $0.75 to $1.05. intent was scale after andy yes. we raised things that already had click proof, not cold traffic.
sep 17: two jobs the same day. trimmed 4 bids that were printing high acos (examples: $0.82 to $0.61, $0.38 to $0.29, $0.59 to $0.44, $0.43 to $0.32). and raised top-of-search placement modifiers on 5 campaigns (examples: tos 0 to 10, 10 to 20, 20 to 30, 35 to 45). cut the waste, push more of the remaining spend onto the placement that was earning the clicks.
sep 18: 2 more scale bids on product targets ($0.20 to $0.25, $0.63 to $0.69) plus another round of 5 top-of-search placement bumps in the same shape as the 17th. then we stopped touching it for two days so the attribution window could catch up. if you change the account every morning you never know which move did what.
how the day actually broke:
organic / unpaid sales $737.57 (about 54%)
sponsored products same-day $625.69 (about 46%)
ad spend $268.98 against store sales $1,363.26 is 19.73% tacos
acos on the paid slice is 42.99%
that is why watching acos alone will scare you into the wrong cut. acos only prices the paid half. tacos prices ads against the whole store. when unpaid is more than half the day, a mid-40s acos can still sit under a ~20% tacos the account can live with. the 23.3 point gap is what buying organic rank looks like in the numbers, not a slogan.
sep mtd is averaging $1,290.72 per day vs august at $937.61 (+37.7%). trailing 30 days of books sales are $36,070.91. we are ahead of last month and ahead of july, and still short of the 3x daily line. that is the honest scoreboard.
if you run amazon ads, pull three things on the same window before you touch bids tomorrow: store sales, acos, and tacos. then look at paid vs unpaid dollars on that day. if unpaid is carrying and tacos is fine, the high acos might be the cost of the unpaid half, not a reason to slash the account overnight.
